The design of a web site is something that typically takes several months to design, implement, and test. A simple one page site can often be developed within a month, while complicated sites can take a year or more to fully develop.
Your own design ideas for your site ─ text, graphics, and the pages you have in mind ─ can reduce the time and cost of the design considerably. After your site is launched alterations to the content are included in the monthly Business Presence plans.

ispltd.com
This is our consultancy that was started in 1999. You can see old versions of our site on archive.org. The web site has changed quite a bit since its first design, but one thing has not changed: It is written 100% by hand and is entirely our design. This kind of site takes the longest to the develop, but provides the most efficient and unique end result.
Don’s Directory
This is one of our oldest customers. This web site dates back to 2004, long before site templates like WordPress existed. It is a specialised search engine and phone book for the petroleum industry that allows people to create a personal contact directory with notes and reminders. Don’s Directory office
The administrative back-end web app for Don’s Directory was the first major web-app we developed, and was one of the early web apps on the Internet. It was started in 2001 to supply the data for their printed phone book, and from there it has been continually expanded. Today it contains accounting and subscription features in addition to the database controls that were its original design.
Ash Kelly’s Roofing Inc.
We have been hosting and developing the Internet presence for Ash Kelly’s Roofing (formerly Sean O’Connell’s Roofing) in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia since 2023. This was the first site we designed to have web site inquiries go directly to mobile phones as text messages in addition to e-mail, allowing for quick responses inquiries. We also helped with search engine placement for the company.
Our web portal gives you control of phone contacts, calendars, mail, notes, maps, chat rooms (text, voice, and video), shared documents, and more. You no longer have to trust the Internet giants with your confidential business information. Now you can keep it within your own company domain.
An accounting and tax preparation service in Victoria, British Columbia. They asked us to make a simple web site and to configure hosting for their business domains, which we have been doing since 2022.
Patient RM is a suite of service offerings. It stands for Patient Relationship Management. We took over the hosting and site management for this company in 2024.
Bible Center Church
We have hosted this site since about 2004. The original design was written by the son of the pastor. Some time around 2010 we were asked to modify the site to include audio sermon listening and downloading. We took the original static design and re-wrote it to allow dynamic content. The audio section is designed to read the tags in the MP3 files, so adding new sermons is as simple as uploading them, and they instantly appear on the site with the embedded descriptive text.
IXO.ca
IXOYE is the English-letter form of a Greek word “ichthus” that means “fish”. IXO.ca is a site for sharing short texts, articles, and bookmarks related to the Holy Bible.
JAH.ca
This is a sermon audio and video sharing site started in 2004 and written entirely by hand. It started out as a simple design to share sermons from a single church, but soon expanded to include talks from other places. With so many sites compressing files to save bandwidth, we felt there was a need for high-quality audio files. In 2023 we added a simple video playback feature.
MikeAttwood.org
This is a video sharing site that was developed for a Bible teacher who wanted to get away from the advertising and censorship found on other popular video hosting sites. We found a low-cost way to achieve what he wanted. The site was launched in early 2024 when utube started adding advertisements to his sermons.
ISPLtd Linux wiki
This is a web site where we share our notes on what we have learned about Linux for people who are interested in learning how to do many of the tasks that are common in web, mail, database, and cloud server administration.
ispl.ca
Back in 2002 when we moved our business to Canada we registered this as a possible shorter domain name for ispltd.com, but we decided instead to just use this name for personal thoughts. Over the years the text has changed significantly, but the overall design of the hand-written site has remained fairly constant.
